Sustainable education encompasses efforts to integrate sustainability principles into teaching, learning, and community engagement, preparing students to address complex sustainability challenges. By aligning with sustainable education goals, libraries can support the development of sustainability-minded graduates equipped with the knowledge and skills to contribute to a more sustainable future. Sustainable education is thus a key context for libraries to demonstrate their relevance and impact in the academic landscape.

The Strategies for Integrating Library Matrices into Sustainability Education Framework outlined in this work embedding sustainability in collection development, digital literacy programs, green library spaces, sustainability-focused exhibitions, and collaborative learning spaces offer practical pathways for libraries to support sustainability education. These strategies enable libraries to contribute to sustainability awareness, foster responsible practices, and enhance their position as key contributors to campus-wide sustainability efforts. By implementing these strategies, libraries can play a pivotal role in advancing sustainability in academic communities.
